CD COVER DESIGN PROCESS
INTRODUCTION
The challenge of this project is to layout and design a brochure
as an insert for a CD case. The design should reflect the contents of the CD and
excellent brochure design, and connects with the theme of the poster developed in the previous poster design project.

CREATIVE PROCESS:
So the first idea that I came up with is to create a camera with a film-like insert. I wasn't successful in making it, and I got frustrated. I think that it wouldn't really work in real life, but for me it was a unique idea that I thought of for myself in the future too if I was to design my own CD case/insert. Since, I wasn't successful, I ended up doing a basic CD insert for a CD jewel case. I re-arranged the elements and changed a bit of the typography from my poster design, and did the CD insert design. I also made some icons/graphics for the insert that connects to the contents of the CD.
CONCLUSION:
Overall, I am a little bit satisfied that I tried doing the first idea that I had before ending up creating the basic ones. A bit bummed that I wasn't successful for the first one, but I will surely try again to satisfy my mind. The hard part for creating the final project was picking typography that will work, and what design or description should I add for it to be attractive enough for people to grab it.

I have decided to create the basic CD insert/cover with four panels.
